Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and over twenty years of experience in construction management, contract negotiation, strategic planning, and project management capabilities in heavy industrial, institutional, commercial, historic preservation, and large-scale residential development. At the start of his professional career, Smith planted his roots in Savannah, Georgia and has since earned a distinguished reputation for having an elite understanding of the area’s complex landscape. From his comprehensive experience in renovating the area’s nineteenth-century buildings to meet modern-day standards, to breaking new ground in the development of Savannah’s International Trade and Convention Center, Smith’s resume is impressively vast. Jimmy and his wife Heather have two daughters, Annaleigh and Sydney.

Billy McIntosh

Mr. McIntosh is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. Billy is a native Savannahian with over 20 years of commercial and custom residential construction experience. Throughout his career, Billy has had the opportunity to manage challenging and unique ground-up and renovation projects that have contributed to the diversity of his portfolio.

With a track record of successful projects, Billy has relied on the key pairing of team methodology and effective communication. Billy and his wife, Cathy, have a daughter named Cara. In his free time, Billy enjoys fishing, kayaking, sports, and playing music.

Bradley Murphy

Project Manager

In his role as Project Manager, Mr. Murphy is in charge of managing and coordinating project details. He oversees the operations of construction sites, from planning to completion. Murphy is also responsible for daily scheduling, supervising all activities and tasks, and ensuring the safety and compliance of project sites.

A graduate from the University of Georgia with a degree in Economics, Murphy has lived in Savannah since childhood. With over 20 years of experience in residential and commercial work, built across the Midwest, Georgia, and the Lowcountry, Murphy adds a wealth of experience to the company.

Murphy and his wife Katie have two children, Jack and Mallie, and are active in the schools with volunteering and coaching baseball and football. In his free time, Murphy is an avid golfer and outdoorsman that loves hunting, fishing, and tending to their robust vegetable garden.

Bo Villanova

Bo Villanova

Superintendent

At JTVS, Mr. Villanova serves as Superintendent and is in charge of helping maintain onsite scheduling, information gathering, daily logging, and correspondence with clients and crew. He helps facilitate the management side of construction projects for both new and historic preservation.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Mr. Villanova is a graduate of the University of Maryland University College with a degree in History. He received an AA in Construction Management from STC in 2018. He served over 20 years in the armed forces, first as a Marine Corps Infantryman, and later as an Army Aviator with assignments in Cuba, the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, scuba diving, and playing sports. He and his wife Riina have two children, Cameron and Olivia.

John Swinson

John Swinson

Project Manager

John is a Savannah native who joined JTVS Builders with over 15 years in the industry. As a licensed contractor in Georgia and South Carolina, he has successfully​ ​built​ ​over​ ​600​ ​homes​ ​in​ ​​ ​Georgia,​ ​South​ ​Carolina​, ​and​ ​North​ ​Carolina​. He received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Business Administration at The University of Alabama, majoring in Construction Management, and is a graduate of the Benedictine Military School in Savannah, Georgia.

John is active in several organizations, including being a member of the Benedictine Alumni Association and the Alabama Alumni Association. He lives in Savannah with his wife, Anne Myree Swinson, and their two daughters, Bailey and Caroline. He is an avid golfer and fisher and is also active as a coach in his daughters' sports teams.

Kiersten Connor

Kiersten is originally from Orlando, Florida, having moved to Savannah from Palestine, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Daytona State College and a Master of Arts in Preservation Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. Prior to joining the JTVS team, Kiersten worked heavily within the Historic Preservation, Conservation, and Deconstruction field.

In Kiersten’s free time, she volunteers for Re:Purpose Savannah and freelances as a Historic Preservation Consultant. She lives in the Thomas Square Streetcar District with her husband, Matthew, and their three furbabies. Kiersten enjoys working on her historic 1914 rowhouse and immersing herself in historical research.

Mr. Player recently moved to Savannah after living in Enid, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Presbyterian College with a BBA in Business Administration, and started his pursuit of a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in August 2019.

Player has over 22 years of experience in Construction Project Management, working throughout the United States in North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Georgia. Prior to coming to Savannah, Player owned and operated a construction and commercial HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration services company in Enid and Northwest Oklahoma for nearly a decade.

Player and his wife, Molly, have two children: a daughter Avery and a son Wilson. They are all avid tennis players and Player enjoys cycling, hunting and fishing.

Tamara Harty

Originally from Greenville, SC, Tamara Harty has lived in Savannah for over 25 years. She graduated from UGA in 1993 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and has worked in accounting for over 20 years, including CPA firms and various industries. Harty and her husband, Nick Harty, have three kids: Tony, Jack, and Helen.

Outside of work, she is an avid runner and is a member of the Savannah Triathlon Team and the Savannah Masters. She is also a parishioner and lector at St. James Catholic Church.

Bobby “Bubba” Counts has spent his life working in the construction industry. If there was a Greek god of construction workers listed in the mythology books, it would have a picture of Bubba next to it. Bubba’s can-do attitude and relentless work ethic are highly contagious on project sites and helps to keep a consistent workflow on each project, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets kept.
