Union Mission officially opened the newly constructed Emmaus House Resource Center in June 2026. The 8,200-square-foot downtown facility serves as a one-stop hub, providing meals, medical care, and housing assistance for up to 200 unhoused individuals daily.
Located at the intersection of Oglethorpe Avenue and Fahm Street, this project transformed a former Family Dollar store. It features trauma-informed interior design conceptualized by SCAD students, made possible by a $1 million grant from the Parker’s Community Fund.
