Bobbie’s Diner is a classic example of mid-century American roadside architecture and was originally manufactured in 1954. Operated by the Savannah College of Art and Design as part of its food service program, the diner serves students and the surrounding community while preserving its distinctive retro character. The renovation of this landmark eatery began in 2025 and included a new kitchen addition, a new covered outdoor dining area, and renovated dining spaces, all designed to complement the original structure.
